About Airtight

Airtight writes your resume and cover letter for each posting, then checks every line of them against your own history before you see them. It is built by Hyaku Labs LLC, an independent company, and it never sends anything for you.

Why it exists

Every application tool now writes with AI, and every one of them says the same thing in small print: review it before you send it. The reviewing is left to you, at the moment you are least able to do it well, after the tenth application of the day. Generated applications carry claims that are not quite true: a cover letter that says “the last decade” against a resume that starts in 2016, a title inflated by one step, a skill the posting wanted and the history never held.

Airtight does the checking. After the documents are written, it reads them back against your history: every employer, title, date and claim has to exist in what you gave it, and anything that does not is flagged for you before you send. The check is itself AI and can be wrong in both directions, so it advises and never blocks. But it means you walk into the interview able to defend every line.

What it does

Paste a posting, or pick one from the roles Airtight finds for you. The fit check measures every requirement in the posting against your history and marks it supported, needing your input, or not yet supported, with the evidence beside it. Where a requirement wants an example you can give one, and it stays on your history for the next application. Then the resume and cover letter are written in the posting’s terms, checked for the keywords and structure applicant tracking systems look for, and checked against your history. You review them, download them, and submit them yourself.

What it will never do

It will not submit an application for you, on any site, ever. Auto-submitted applications get candidates flagged and filtered, and a person should always be the one who decides to apply. It will not invent history to fill a gap; gaps are reported, not papered over. It will not sell your resume data or use it for advertising.

Who it is for

Roles where the application itself is what gets screened: software, data, product, design, and the other professional fields where a document meets an applicant tracking system before it meets a person. Job discovery covers software, data, product and design today; pasting a posting works for any field.

Who makes it

Airtight is made by Hyaku Labs LLC. A human reads every message sent to support@airtight.so, usually within one business day. What changed and when is on the changelog; how your data is handled is on the security page.
